Guiding Light

A pair of stained glass windows commissioned by the URC to celebrate the new millennium. The hand drawn circles used to form the design suggest cell growth and diversity, reflecting two issues that were current as we entered the millennium: The completeion of the Human Genome Project, and the cultural diversity of Britain. That each cell in the design differs from each other celebrates and affirms the uniqueness of every person created. The resulting windows are technically and aesthetically of their time yet also complement the existing windows and fabric of the building.
