For A New Scottish Parliament

Celebrating the creation of a Scottish Parliament 1999. Following the 1997 referendum Scottish people overwhelmingly and unambiguously voted in favour for the creation of a Scottish parliament.

The Saltire has been the national emblem of Scotland since the 14th century and is a key symbol of Scottish identity. According to legend white clouds in the form of Saltire appeared in a blue sky during the battle of Nechtansmere, urging the Scots to victory.

This design captures the nature of this historic event. The abstraction of this emblem gives it new energy. It suggests dynamic new guide whilst remaining easily recognisable form steeped in history.
