I am a light loving city dweller.
I am a Royal College of Art trained artist specialised in the creative use of glass in architectural contexts.
Much of my work is focused on the nature and importance of public spaces and serves to enhance the quality of such spaces.
Form, scale, interactivity, surface quality, repetition continue to influence my ideas, which are directed towards facades, entrances, walls, screens in everyday spaces: places of congregation and 'between' places.
My works responds to and creates a synthesis with the space in question, each piece is thus created specifically for the surrounding architecture and location and incorporates ideas relating to the function of the building and its aesthetic qualities.
